Two-thirds of Russians believe that the country is moving in the right direction, approve of the actions of the government and the heads of regions. The president’s actions are supported by about four-fifths of respondents.

Similarly, the attitude towards the government has changed slightly. 68% of respondents approve of his activity today (71% in July), 28% disapprove (27% in July).

The overall assessment of the activity of the heads of regions has not changed for several months. Today, 69% of respondents approve of the work of the heads of subjects, 26% disapprove.

In August, the level of approval of the work of the State Duma increased slightly. In July, 60% approved of the activities of the lower house of parliament, and 35% disapproved, in August the numbers were 57% and 37%, respectively.

Compared to July, the level of trust to Vladimir Putin has not changed much and amounted to 44%. The trust to Mikhail Mishustin has increased — from 16% to 19%. The trust to Sergei Shoigu and Sergey Lavrov does not change – 15% and 14%, respectively.
