In February 2026, a third of Russians expected that there would be more unemployed people in the next 12 months. After a significant reduction in 2022-2023, the number of people expecting an increase in unemployment has been steadily increasing since the beginning of 2024. At the same time, almost half of the respondents today believe that the number of unemployed will not change, and one in ten believes that it will decrease.
